Jaffer is a highly motivated social entrepreneur, coach, trainer and leader who has senior level experience working in and across organisations to ensure strategies are met and communities are enabled to thrive. He has often been commended on his ability to develop strong, meaningful and sustainable relationships in incredibly short amounts of time.

His coaching and leadership experiences have led him to develop a style in which he translates ideas, ideals, programmes, initiatives and strategies into plain speaking, easy to understand English and in a way that brings people on the journey changing hearts and minds along the way. His extensive training also means that he has a wealth of tools at his fingertips which he often draws down and utilises to support people creating unexplored solutions alongside clear, actionable plans.

Having been born and bought up in Blackburn, Jaffer has used his life experiences to help shape his professional career. As the youngest of 6, born to immigrant parents and in a working-class family, he understands the importance of being able to support individuals, teams and organisations to develop effective and efficient life pathways and journeys. He knows first hand, that by being provided with such a plethora of opportunities and seizing them has enabled him to get to where he is today: a former Head of a Local Authority Youth Service, founder of his own youth empowerment charity, an Olympic Torch Bearer and a recipient of the European Citizens Award in 2016!

Having been involved in his community since his teens, he is deeply passionate about the power of local people who can make changes to themselves and others when given the resources and opportunities to do so. He has spent all of his career working across the public and voluntary sectors. In doing so, he has a real sense of the struggle people face when wanting to help as many of their peers and fellow community members as possible but needing to prioritise.
